Edward Tufte will give a one-day course on information design for faculty and students only
on 3 separate days in New York City. The one-day course will be offered on these days:

Edward Tufte will teach the entire course and each attendee receives copies of all 4 of his books on information design and analysis: The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, Envisioning Information, Visual Explanations, and his most recent book Beautiful Evidence.
This special course is for students and faculty only. The total price is $140 for the course and the books. This is a deep discount from the usual public course fee ($380). To register, please provide current student or faculty ID and a school phone number (registrar or department office) that can confirm your student or faculty status. The one-day course will be given at ET Modern museum/gallery at 547West 20th Street (on the corner of 11th Avenue) in the Chelsea art district, from 10.00am to 4.00pm. The doors open at 8:45am for registration and a reading assignment. ET will hold office hours prior to the course and during the breaks. After the course, ET will provide an artist tour of his gallery ET Modern for those that are interested in sculpture, 3D design, and museum design.
